By using our services and providing your personal information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not proceed with the service.
1. What Our Service Is
An express spot check is a brief review conducted by one of our melanographers. The melanographer will use dermoscopic analysis to examine one (1) to three (3) lesions visible on the skin surface. The check usually takes three to five minutes and may include questions about your skin and medical history (Our Service).
After the spot check, the melanographer will provide general information (a preliminary assessment) about any moles or skin irregularities, and may recommend further assessment where appropriate.
While dermoscopy enhances the early detection of skin cancer, it cannot identify lesions that do not yet display recognisable clinical or dermoscopic features of malignancy. Some skin cancers (“occult cancers”) may appear entirely normal in their early stages and only develop detectable abnormalities over time. For this reason, you should seek prompt assessment by a qualified medical practitioner if you notice any lesion that is new, changing, bleeding, painful, or otherwise concerning, irrespective of the findings of this Service.
2. What Our Service Is Not
Our service:
Our melanographers are trained screening professionals and are not medical practitioners. They do not provide medical opinions, diagnoses, or treatment plans.
You must not rely on this service as a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment provided by a qualified medical practitioner and are responsible for seeking your own medical and other relevant clinical advice in associated with a spot check under these Terms and Conditions.
3. Limitations of the Service
You acknowledge that an express spot check has inherent limitations.
Melanographers assess via clinical or dermoscopic analysis of lesions visible on the skin surface.
Only visible lesions can be assessed, and not all skin cancers or conditions can be identified through a brief review.
The accuracy of any preliminary assessment may be affected if the information you provide is incomplete or inaccurate.
You acknowledge that this Service is designed to offer a preliminary assessment of any concerning moles or skin irregularities.
This is not a general dermatology consultation, and we are unable to advise on skin conditions that may or may not be associated with potential skin cancers.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or outcomes of the Service, and no representation or warranty is given that all skin cancers, abnormalities, or conditions will be identified.
