We often associate sun damage with hot, sunny days. But it isn’t the temperature or brightness that damages our skin, it’s ultraviolet radiation, better known as UV.
UV is invisible, which means you can’t see or feel it. It can be present on cool and cloudy days, making the daily UV level a much better guide to sun protection than the weather forecast.
